Given a Vegemite™ sandwich by a smiling 193 centimetre bread seller in Brussels, I'd eat it.

We have Marmite, which is made from yeast: I like it.

Yup. The Aussies invented Vegemite when Marmite shipments were interrupted. We have our own Marmite here in NZ which is a little bit different from the UK one. It's all good! It's particularly fun telling people unfamiliar with the products that it is a chocolate spread...

Dude, what's that, like 12 feet tall? Man, I'd run if some frost giant tried to offer me a sandwich with a big cave mineral deposit in it. *shudder*

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, do you speak-a my language?
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich

12 feet would be about 365 centimetres or so.

That's interesting--you've taken the time to explain yours hoping to clarify (apparently). It may not be clear from my comment, but I already "got it." I will forgo the opportunity to clarify why I thought my response was funny. Explaining it would ruin it (assuming anyone besides me thought it was humorous).

Well, I thought your "cave mineral deposit" part was quite funny.

Partial credit is better than no credit at least.
