There is no proof of past, we just went through the future, there is only now.

I love claims like this. Ones that make you think.

so time is an illusion, the passage of time is just an arbitrary measure of the rate of changes and time travel is nonsensical? I personally suspect this is true, but I'm no physicist. How would relativistic effects fit in if so?

Just by looking at the stars, you can actually get to see what was there millions of years ago, so that should make you a "good" ideea about time and space...

past and future is simply an abstract concept. It only exists because humans have the ability to remember and imagine events.

Past and future as we know them may be an abstraction, and it is certainly true that our experience of the present moment is primary in a way that the past is not -- and what we call "the future" is speculation about events that have not yet happened and may never happen -- but to say that there is nothing real about past events or that nothing will happen in the future is to deny reality itself. Certainly there is a relation between our perception of past events and the things that actually did happen, and our anticipation of future events and the things that eventually come to pass. If we deny the reality of our relationship to the past, we become vulnerable to those in power who would control us by rewriting history to cover their culpability.... We relinquish control of that one domain they could never otherwise claim....

The past and the future exist exactly as much as mathematics does: in our minds.

The answer is not yes or no. It's sqrt(-1).

There is an almost definite chance that the past exists. It could just be coincidence that we recall similar events, however, it is highly unlikely.

There is no guarantee that the future does or will exist.
