Hey, I still use IE for lots of things. It uses less CPU on average if you're on Windows, several websites I use require it, and if you're multitasking with other large applications IE will run faster (though firefox is much faster when it's not sharing the system with another large app). I would agree that firefox is better, but I can't agree that "friends don't let friends use IE". If that's true, apparently friends don't let friends do online banking, get employed at the majority of big-name companies, use outlook web access, install windows updates, and more.
Used to be hardcore FF fanatic, but after switching to Mac, I have to say it feels positively ugly compared to Safari or Camino. If only Camino had a little more love.
There are other alternatives to IE. It is not like if you do not use IE, Firefox become the best browser. I myself, have used from IE to Opera, from Safari to Linx and I still think the best browser is the one that meets your needs at an specific given time. At the moment, I would say Firefox2 is better than IE6. But Firefox still stucks.
I too thought Firefox was really great till I switched to a mac. Now I love my Safari and Firefox feels so clunky and half arsed. Safari is so simple and wonderful. Even the bookmarks toolbar in Safari is leaps and bounds ahead of any other browser, and it doesn't do anything especially amazing, its just done with a strong sense of usability and utility.
um, i don't think black people use the word "nigger." I'm pretty sure it's "niggah" in that vernacular, so I'm going to call wigger on this one. Also, the whole concept of Black Bird is inadvertently hilarious, so much so that I thought it was a hoax.

I sense this claim is going to get a lot of love.
I prefer Opera.
Broswer? Hah, this "internet" thing is just a fad.
Firefox is the better browser, but could be better.
Firefox is the best of its breed

Opera.

I prefer Opera.
And with IE7 I prefer that over Firefox.
I was really fond of iCab, back on my G3 mac laptop. I've not tried it since I've had a MacOSX capable machine.
love the font smoothing of Safari on windows, but I still use Firefox most of the time, it's more stable

The font smoothing of Safari on Windows is ridiculously bluryhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers#TheCounter.com
Get Flock. It's totally better. You get account management and social networking built right in.
But for speed, I suggest Opera.
