Farmers should stop using cow blood as a milk substitute for calves.

"Calf Starter" or "Milk Substitute" is sometimes used to raise calves in place of cow milk. It is often made of "alternative" proteins such as cow blood. This PDF has a great picture:

Many scientists think mad cow disease is spread by cows being fed cows. It is no longer to legal to feed beef to cows, but blood is still legal...
