Let me tell you how many times I've "run into" DRM in Vista in the six months of daily use I've been using it:

zero.

Seriously, does anyone have any experience with the thing they claim to know anything about? Show me the DRM. Point out where I can't do something.

Even the principle that they are supporting DRM is enough reason to avoid it.

If they are starting to support DRM, it is unlikely they intend to drop that support any time soon and it will only get worse with time.

It maybe fine now but it is just released so they want good reports. They can just update it via windows update at any time and the record companies will keep pushing them to support it more.

Lil' Chaos, check out defectivebydesign.org for info, but it's what makes it so that those songs you get off of iTunes won't work on other mp3 players or other computers or let you burn them more than a certain number of times. It keeps you from doing what *you* want with the stuff that *you* pay for.
