Blue LEDs are wicked awesome.

It's all about the green LEDs

I'm getting tired off them though. Ever since they came out and got cheap enough they've been the hot new thing for consumer electronics.

I never see many purple LEDs

or pink ones for that matter.

or brown ones.

I had a blue one in my mouse (that uses a red one for tracking) and it gave this awesome pinkish-purple glow. Sadly I miscalculated resistances and the blue one wore out wicked-fast.
