Blocking Rachel seems counter-productive. Blocking Vynce doesn't seem any better.

Together I would bet that these two represent a large portion of activity within the jyte community.

Why would anyone want to block Rachel or Vince?

well, to date, i've made about 3% of the claims, and rachel has commented more than any two people put together -- so yeah, that's maybe a significant fraction.

plus, you lose access to all her smart!

I don't know why. But according to the comment that inspired this, someone may have.

When you block Vynce and Rachel you are really blocking yourself

Yes, someone blocked all of the top claimants. I can somewhat understand an interest in focusing on the quieter people of Jyte. And I am glad people can block me. I feel more comfortable being myself knowing that if you don't like it, you do not have to read it. To each their own.

However, I will not be blocking Vynce.

But what's the point of a quiet Jyte?

I would imagine it depends how much time you have to give to the site and what you are most interested in seeing.

well, according to what i have read, it might help some people eat, sleep, improve their love lives, get work done, or do homework, or do anything productive.

Some people are just asking to be ignored. And I have more time to ignore/block their useless rhetoric than to let it cloud my monitor.

That wasn't even English.

Eleanor, actually, I would prefer it if you were to ignore me. I could ignore you, but I really prefer to respond to your replies. But nothing productive will come of you reading anything I write. I have free time, and it doesn't much matter to me, but I strongly suggest you ignore me.

Inconsistent sentence structure, failure to have a point, incomprehensible grammatical constructs.

@ Tad: I hadn't seen the attacks on my sentence structure on here, had to comment that it was flawless and point out that Alky was wrong when he tries to start unfounded stuff on me :) That's all!
Does anyone else think there's a flaw with what I said 8 comments up? Because there's clearly nothing.

I tend to write pretty legibly.

@PG: you wrote Some people are just asking to be ignored. And I have more time to ignore/block their useless rhetoric than to let it cloud my monitor.

If you meant, "Some people are just asking to be ignored. And I would rather spend my time blocking their useless rhetoric than spend it reading their befuddled thinking", then I would immodestly suggest that I may have expressed your thought more clearly than you did. So I do think there are flaws in your sentence even if they are more stylistic than grammatical. :)

How very eloquent of you. Constructive criticism is everything.
While I think both ways are technically correct, yours probably would've probably taken the full points on the S.A.T.'s, so gracias.
