Sure, she was cute. Sure, Rose was the Bad Wolf, and destroyed a billion daleks. But she also caused a paradox and got the doctor eaten by paradox dragons. She wandered off on a spaceship and would have had herself and Mickey the Idiot wired into a computer. She came back after a year or two, and talked like she had cotton balls in her mouth. What's up with that, Billie?
Martha Jones was cute too. Martha would become a maid in a school a hundred years in the past and put up with racist comments for the Doctor. Martha traveled the world for a year, and all she did was talk about the Doctor and how great he was. Rose never did that. Martha would give her last breath for her colleagues. Martha would have blown up the Earth for the Doctor. Rose never would have blew up the Earth for anybody. So why not Freema Agyeman?
Jack would fly a bomb into space, even if it meant he wouldn't survive, just because the Doctor told him to. Jack would cling to the TARDIS until his last breath if it meant he got to travel with the Doctor. Jack would (supposedly) protect a secret for the Doctor until the day he died. So how about John Barrowman?
Who is the most faithful companion? Who has been with the Doctor the longest? I don't know about you, but personally? I'd say... the TARDIS. ;)
