Right on. +1 to whurley!
My impression is that, at least in Toronto, the barcamp community is congregating the very best of the tech community, and that it's one of the best Places To Be for new ideas at the moment.
I'm looking forward attending my first DemoCampToronto event, whenever it happens next.
