ASP.NET makes Ruby look like poo.

See this claim.

I program in ASP.NET with C# at work, and do Ruby on Rails for fun... Nothing against C# or the .NET framework, I think it's great. But Ruby on Rails leaves me stress-free at the end of the day.

Not having seen ASP.NET, I'm not qualified to vote.

However, Ruby is the most beautiful language I've ever used (and yes, I've seen C#), so if there's something out there that really does make Ruby look like poo, I want to know what it is!

ASP.NET makes me weep a little. At least, the way most people write it.

Feathers are all getting ruffled here. Kids, it's not a serious claim. Sometimes it's too easy to bait programmers...

I mentioned C# in the context of ASP.NET, on the assumption that nobody would ever seriously claim that VB makes Ruby look like poo. (=

I'd never describe C# *or* Java as even remotely beautiful -- both are far too noisy.
