As soon as Oscar J Carlton IV got half-decent at Ruby, he made the mistake of asking about lambda and is as a result waist-deep in Scheme.

Getting back to my roots , or at least the roots I would've had if I'd been a CS major. Got my brain tied in knots now, but I think I'll manage.

I should spend less time thinking about writing code and more time writing code.

It isn't in general, but it was for me. I spend all my time philosophizing about methodologies and paradigms and never get anything accomplished. Or maybe I just don't feel like I've accomplished anything when something's easy, and think I'm not good at what I'm doing when it's hard.
