Anne, you make some very good points, and you certainly are correct on all cases. However, it is undeniable that animals are tasty, especially cows, chickens, and pigs.
Now I do feel bad about the inhumane and unsanitary conditions in which animals are raised for food, however, they're really really tasty.
Animals are indeed tasty. Especially bacon. Mmm, bacon. But they're a grossly inefficient way of meeting caloric needs, so I don't eat them. (Most of them, anyway. Mmm, sushi.)
I personally think animals are quite tasty, but I think taste in food, like anything else, is acquired, not intrinsic. For example, I hate grapefruit, but if made myself eat enough of it, I'd grow to like it.

Animals aren't tasty to me (vegan), but it's ok if they are tasty to you!

Grapefruit is tastyIt's the seasoning that is tasty. Try eating animals without any seasoning and see if you still agree with this claim.

Straight up meat with no seasoning whatsoever does not taste goodI've eaten straight up chicken, beef, pork, and seafood with no seasoning, and found it delicious!
The arrogance of the human condition is betrayed by those who consider animals were put on this earth for food.
I disagree. I believe the arrogance of the human condition is betrayed by those who fail to consider other human beings acceptable food.
I disagree that animals are tasty. They taste disgusting.
