Juliet, I believe, is 14. Her mother comments that when she was that age, she'd already given birth to Juliet.
I think when some children are old enough to have other children, then they definitely all need to know about the risks that go with sex: including anal sex.
Of course, I was prepubescent by some standards at this age. I certainly had never menstruated and had only minimal breast development. That would come years later, as puberty varies hugely from person to person.
Of course, the youngest known case of pregnancy was at age 5. And I think, in general, that four and five year olds do not need to know the details of anal sex.
I think puberty is an absolutely lousy marker to use, and that age and readiness tend to be far, far better. Especially as puberty doesn't make one go out and have sex nor does the lack thereof prevent you from doing so.

I'm agreeing, but just to note that the wording would be better phrased as:
"Children should be taught what anal sex is when they are as old as Juliet's mother was when she had Juliet in _Romeo and Juliet_"
I think that keeps the meaning you were aiming at but clarifies it?
Why not just say "Children should be taught about anal sex when they are 14"?

I let my programming language use of punctuation spill over into my written word.Because I wanted to put it into some context. And because the other side was vastly manipulating and misleading people by using puberty as their marker, when puberty can start anywhere between about 2 to 15 and can finish anywhere about 5 to 19, which means it's a really tricky marker to use. And it was not being defined.
I think you totaly out of line stating anal sex and kids. I love anal sex with a woman aged 21 and older. Keep the little Butts tight until they are 18 or older. If I had anal sex with people under 18, they would not be able to walk or talk.
