Adam and Eve couldn't have committed any "original sin" because before they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they wouldn't have known that they were disobedient
If I put a little turtle-treat in my little turtle's turtle tank and tell him, "now don't you eat that treat, little turtle!" and it just goes ahead and eats that treat anyway, that is not a sin on the part of my little turtle under any stretch of the imagination....
@PanDeism:
Do turtles have free will?
Are you saying that you are just as smart as a turtle?
Or that you have no free will?
If you have no free will, this jyte was decided before the universe began; thus, why are you wasting your time?

This claim assumes that to sin, one must be aware one is sinning. Which, I guess, in certain religions is the case.

Again, it depends on how you define sin. I actually meant to agree with this claim. (oops!)

In terms of knowing right from wrong, we are all just as smart as the turtle.... at least, it's never hurt anyone....
Just because they did not know the rules does not mean it did not exist.
Maybe jyteing is an irredeemable sin, but you won't find out until after you die.... not really fair now, is it?
Free will doesn't mean much without awareness of consequences.
Besides, everyone knows Free Will is just a movie about an orca.
