I'm not a fan, but I can't help feel that .NET is a vast improvement over 6.0. .NETs biggest hassle is not the development platform itself, but the manner in which its creators deliver that platform to customers. What a cluster fuck that is!

Pardon my cursing.

You made a claim about .NET and uploading the splash screen from VB 6. Brillant!

You can't find many pictures of .NET on google image search so I just uploaded something just as bad.

.NET is a great and indeed an well developed tool. It fails however for the fashion that is the web 2.0 and the trend that everything must be transformed into a service. It also fails to be a fast runtime choice. It also follows this horrible practice of integrating everything and making all the framework (and a single function sometimes) to require multiple libs for which you will not use 90% of it. While it is good to be user centric, .NET is just too much. I expected a lot more from .NET but since it is still a great tool I hope on improvements next versions.
